"A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality." - John Lennon

My friends because of you being able to feed our hungry neighbors is not a dream for me but a reality you have helped CCMI achieve for the past 8 years. As we approach our 9th year, I am asking you to support our reality once again. And our reality is that in Lee County there are 3,400 homeless individuals and 150 of those are children. The decline in manufacturing and construction continues to hit our area hard. There are thousands across our community who are not able to provide a meal for themselves or their families. But because of your support in the last year CCMI has fed over 36,000 at our Fort Myers Everyday Café & Marketplace, over 22,000 at our Cape location, delivered over 100,000 meals to the elderly homebound. We have just opened our State Road 80 Marketplace and have already fed over 3,000 in that neighborhood and we continue to feed over 3,600 students each school weekend. In addition to the ways we are providing nutritious meals with dignity and hope, you have helped up provide excellent Montessori education to our preschoolers, expand our mobile food pantry distribution areas and launch more frequent Baby University classes for expectant families to promote healthy growth and achievement potential.

I'm hoping you will once again join our fight to end homelessness and hunger in our community by gathering your friends together for a table or tickets at the 9th Annual Soup Kitchen Benefit on January 31, 2012. To purchase tickets, please call 877-296-TIXX (8499) or go online to CCMITix.com For more info, call please CCMI at 239-332-7687, x. 100.

Thank you for being a friend (there are hundreds and hundreds of people that need our friendship).

Sincerely,

Sam Galloway, Jr.
