A few hours each week can make a difference.

THE VOLUNTEER COMMITMENT

We recognize that our volunteers have busy schedules and other commitments. We are grateful for whatever time someone can devote to us. We will work with each volunteer to arrange a day and time of the week that fits in with our volunteer needs and the volunteer's schedule.

VOLUNTEER RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Take the commitment to volunteering seriously and know that someone is depending upon you to volunteer on your scheduled day and time.
  2. Call in advance if you are unable to volunteer as scheduled.
  3. Treat each person, fellow volunteer, and staff member with respect and dignity.
  4. Respect the privacy of the people served.
  5. Sign in and record your volunteer hours for each day you serve.
BENEFITS
  1. The joy of serving
  2. Satisfaction of helping those who have every little hope
  3. Making a significant difference in the lives of the homeless neighbors
  4. Working with other dedicated volunteers
